Peace River Preserve spans 450 acres, showcasing diverse ecosystems from scrubby flatwoods to mangrove swamps, and supports scrub-jay habitats as well as high marsh and mangrove communities. Management efforts like prescribed burns are in place to improve habitat quality and address environmental challenges.
