Barefoot Beach
Activity description
One of Southwest Florida’s most pristine beaches, Barefoot Beach is a 342-acre barrier island preserve with beach access, boardwalks and abundant wildlife. Accessible restrooms are available to the public. Framed by sea oats, dunes and calm Gulf waters, the beach attracts shell collectors, birds and nesting sea turtles. Visitors can paddle through estuaries lined by mangroves or relax on the beach. Visitors can access the beach from Bonita Beach Road. The preserve is bordered on the north side by Barefoot Beach Access and Bonita Beach Park.
